R&D Employee
As an R&D Employee, you play a crucial role in our research and development process. You work on developing new strains and optimizing existing ones. These developments are tested using advanced bioreactors. In addition, you contribute to quality improvement, customer support, and production optimization. In this versatile role, you combine scientific expertise with practical application and innovative solutions.
What will you do?
- Conduct research on process optimization and yield improvement within fermentation processes.
- Investigate new bacterial strains and their applications based on customer and organizational needs.
- Work with advanced bioreactors to improve fermentation processes and test new production conditions.
- Maintain and expand our strain collection.
- Collaborate with a team of R&D staff and an industrial microbiologist.
- Provide support with customer service-related questions.
What do you bring?
- A completed relevant bachelor's (HBO) and/or master's (WO) degree.
- Knowledge of microbiology, acquired through education and experience.
- An analytical, precise, and customer-oriented approach to work.
- A natural curiosity and a strong drive to explore and deepen your knowledge.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in English, especially in writing.
What do we offer you?
- A challenging full-time position (40 hours per week) within an innovative organization.
- A gross monthly salary between €3,000 and €4,000 (based on 40 hours).
- Travel allowance (€0.23 per kilometer), a solid pension scheme, and 25 vacation days (based on full-time employment).
