How can we help you?

The heart of our organization is our 'Research Centre'. Our innovative approach and production methods lead to sustainable solutions.

We enjoy working with our clients to find effective combinations of Bacillus. This helps us address the following questions:

  • Can we fix nitrogen to stimulate plant growth?
  • Can we eliminate bad odors, such as the smell of urine?
  • Can we stimulate the phosphorus release in the soil?
  • Is there a solution to reduce the use of antibiotics?
  • How can we improve feed conversion in livestock?
  • Can we grow crops without pesticides?

There are many more challenges that may ask for a natural alternative. Our research team is happy to assist with any issue.

Enzymes are proteins that act as biological catalysts. They work by lowering the activation energy required for a reaction, thus allowing it to proceed faster. We investigate how Bacillus strains can apply enzymes that accelerate (catalyze) chemical reactions in customer relevant situations.

Some key characteristics of enzymatic action that we investigate include:

  • Specificity: Can we select strains for specific enzymes production on a particular substrate?
  • Catalysis: Can we change the rate of the reaction with enzymes without permanently altering the enzymes themselves?
  • Regulation: What factors, such as temperature, pH, and the presence of activators or inhibitors, lead to the desired result?

We utilize the way certain substances (antagonists) counteract or block the action of other substances (agonists).

Key characteristics of antagonistic action that we investigate include:

  • Competitive antagonists: Which Bacillus strains are able to produce antagonistic substances to restore nature's balance?
  • Competitive exclusion: Which Bacillus strains can replace living space of non wanted organisms?
  • Quorum sensing: How many Bacillus can prevent opportunistic species from disturbing nature's balance?
